In 2023, The Orchid Gala raised $500,000 to develop the first Deanne Reeve Pelvic Health Suite at the Dartmouth General Hospital.  Opened in February 2025, the suite is the first of it's kind in Atlantic Canada, offering a dedicated clinical space for both urology and gynecology services.  This innovative, state-of-the-art facility will greatly expand the Dartmouth General's capacity to perform two critical pelvic health procedures - hysteroscopy and cystoscopy which will free up valuable time in the endoscopy and operating rooms.  

In 2024, The Orchid Gala partnered with the IWK Foundation to fund the critical needs of the IWK Health Centre's Gynecology Department.  Generous donors raised $731,018 to purchase much-needed equipment that will help care teams provide the best care possible.  An additional $30,000 was donated to the United Way supported charity "Supportive Housing For Young Mothers". 

In 2025, The Orchid Women's Health Initiative is working with the QEII Hospital Foundation to help fund the purchase of a da Vinci Xi robotic surgical system for Women's Gynecology Oncology.  This state-of-the-art technology will help provide more precise, less invasive treatments, improving outcomes and recovery times for women facing gynecological cancers.
